Sarah (she/her) is a passionate psychologist with experience working with young people, parents, and adults. Her nature is warm and genuine, and she values creating a supportive and safe space.
Sarah takes a personalised and strengths-based approach to help individuals and families align with their values and goals. She draws from a wide range of evidence-based techniques and therapeutic styles including;
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT)
Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT)
Solution Focused Therapy (SFT)
Attachment and family systems frameworks
Sarah aims to make therapy fun, welcoming, and creative, while focusing on building a strong therapeutic connection at the core of her practice. She will often collaborate with an individual’s wider system (e.g., parents, school, allied health team), where appropriate.
Sarah has a deep respect for individuals at every step of their journey and considers it a privilege to foster a therapy space that encourages vulnerability and courage.
